What is the TSCA?

The Purpose
The Goals
How to Join

The Texas Sporting Clays Association is comprised of 42 member clubs and over 2,000 member shooters. Last year, there were over 1,600,000 registered targets thrown at over 200 tournaments. This year we are expecting to see more than 2,000,000 registered targets.

The purpose of the TSCA is the promotion, governance and encouragement of organized sporting clay shooting among residents of the State of Texas and our guests. The TSCA strives to increase the knowledge of safe gun handling, proper care of firearms as well as improved shotgun marksmanship. The TSCA promotes the development of honesty, good fellowship, self-discipline, team play and self-reliance, which are essential to good sportsmanship.

How do I join the TSCA?

If you join the National Sporting Clays Association and are a Texas resident, you automatically become a member of the TSCA.

You may join the NSCA by attending any NSCA Sporting Clays event or visiting any club or range which holds NSCA events.  Once there, you may join and participate in a competition the same day!
